Maine Trades Directory participates in affiliate programs. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means if you click through and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

What doesn't change

• Business listings stay pure. The businesses you see listed in our directory are real local Maine businesses. Listings are never affiliate links, and tier placement (Free vs. Pro) is based only on what the business owner pays us directly for their listing — never on commissions from third parties.
• Affiliate content appears as clearly-labeled complementary offers on category pages (for example, a home warranty quote offer on our plumbing category page). We only link to products and services we'd recommend without a commission attached.
• The cost to you is exactly the same whether you click through our links or find the company directly.

Programs we participate in

Our affiliate partners may include home warranty providers, security systems, solar quote services, insurance comparison sites, and Amazon Associates. We'll add to this list transparently as it grows.
